The ASTDA Nominations Committee is soliciting applications for positions on the ASTDA Board of Directors. We are looking to fill two (2) at-large member positions. These will be for either a 4-year or 6-year term, depending on the outcome of a membership vote to change the Society bylaws to a 4-year term for Board members.
These positions are open to any current ASTDA member with interest in mentoring and supporting the next generation of STI professionals. Healthcare providers, researchers, STI program staff, and others who work in the STI field are welcome to apply for these positions. After the nomination period, qualified individuals who meet the needs of the current Board composition will be put forward to consideration in an election by the ASTDA membership in April 2026.
The ASTDA Board of Directors encourages all who are interested to apply with particular encouragement to people who have expertise and interest in science communications and social media.
